What type of pictures make you want to buy jewelry?
Written by Jewelry on November 7, 2009I am a jewelry designer who is in the process of updating my website. When you shop online for jewelry what is most important to you? Do you want pictures of the jewelry only, or pictures of jewelry on a model so you can see how the jewelry looks on a person? Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your input.

Extreme closeups.
Have one picture with the model and one with a closeup of the jewelry.

A little of both…closeups to show the details, and some displayed on models. Works both ways.

I don’t shop on line much. But, to think of jewelry, and actually think of purchasing a nice item, it would have to have some type of nostalgic feeling as it is presented, a memory of important dates, like with a Mothers Ring, or Anniversary Band. Or a special event that you will be attending, or are creating.
