I am not sure of the retail prices…my mother is a buyer and designer for costume jewelry, hats and clothing. She buys all her merchandise wholesale so that is all I really know about.
Usually the wholesale cost is roughly 20%-40% less than the retail value. Retail is sometimes as much as twice the amount of a wholesale price. It depends on the item’s value. Some costume jewelry is very expensive which most people do not understand. Some costume jewelry can cost as little a $1 to hundreds of dollars. Not sure if that helped to answer your question but that is what I know since I have helped my mother pick out certain items. We go to New York City or online to shop.
