Agree with the others, never immerse it in water or any other liquid. Carefully wipe with a damp cloth. If you want to really shine rhinestones or crystal, you can wipe them with one of those cotton wool sticks, damp with a bit of window cleaner, but only damp, never so wet that it can drip into the settings. Take your time doing this, costume jewelry can be quite fragile as it was never meant to last very long.

Use alchol and make sure to dry them.

one thing to tell you – you CANNOT get it wet or wear it excessively (more than 2 times a week). i’d get a soft, clean cloth and rub it down. take juicy couture costume jewelry for instance – the only real way to clean it is a cleaning rag. you’ll ruin it with water and soap.
if you could help me, i’d really appreciate it!

DONT USE ALCOHOL! WTF?!
Just use a clean polishing cloth that you don’t use with regular jewerly.
And keep them in plastic baggies from now on
