Food for though – Why put down American women while praising these fine ladies? There are many men and women who are in the US that are just as resourceful and I am tired of Americans being referred to on the contrary!

Er… do you mean what was the rope they used to suspend them? Because to me it looks like seed beads… of some sort. I don’t know if it would be paper as well, it might be, very SMALL paper beads…
I’m not sure if that was your question, though.

I love that there is a foundation out there like this: one that uses something we (the world) has so much of (paper) and uses it as a means of improving these womens’ lives!
God Bless you!

Beautiful women with beautiful souls.
My heart cries out for them all… I am SO glad they have created a way for themselves to make the money that they truly need.
This is what “TRUE” Sister hood is all about, instead of, like what -unfortunately- a lot of women do in tearing one another apart with cattiness… these women are REMARKABLE.

these stories are so inspiring. the jewllery is breath taking especially the one at 3.17. question though, what would have they used to keep the beads in shape?
