How much do jewelry appraisals usually cost?
Written by Jewelry on June 8, 2010Well its a long story- there’s a woman who responded to my add on Facebook marketplace and she wants to give me 0 dollars for a diamond necklace that is not even the greatest quality. I want to do the right thing and give her a good price. Are there any jewelry stores that offer free appraisals? If not, how much could one run for?

Independent Jewelers should be able to give you a free estimate appraisal with very basic information regarding the diamond necklace. They will give you an estimate retail cost of the piece. FULL written appraisals will range from $50 – 85 for the first item (Keep in consideration it depends who will be doing the appraisal)
Good Luck!
