How do you think people can sell new jewelry on ebay for so cheap?

I have seen some really nice jewelry for so cheap. For example, a rainbow moonstone pendant and earrings set for only 99 cents starting bid and free shipping!

    It’s pretty simple really.

He is selling cheap Chinese crap and not telling the truth about it being sterling silver. It is not silver.

    Look at his Negative feedbacks:

And he has Mandatory Insurance for $1.30, which I’d bet he doesn’t actually buy.

He’s a junk seller. Stay away from him. You get what you pay for: J-U-N-K!

Because jewelry at jewelry stores is marked up very high. If you’re not running a store in a big fancy building with a bunch of employees, well you save a lot of money.

That said, ebay is a shady place, so it’s possible the items are either stolen, or do not match the description.
