How can I get my tiny online jewelry store advertised?

I’m starting a small business making unique jewelry. I’m not quite sure though on how to market it? Flyers? Business cards? I have the product, I just need to figure out how to get it out there. Any suggestions would help I ‘m sure! Thanks!

    google "crafts" and contact the websites that come up about advertising on their sites. When you have enough to make your own website, then you’ll be well on your way.
    To sell your product locally, make up flyers and post on every community notice board, ask your post office how much it would cost to have flyers added to the normal postal run, or boxes, do you have a local radio station that give free or cheap local and community ads, and get a spot in all local fairs, school fetes, fundraisers, anything you can think of in that line. Ask people you know that have kids for those ideas. Ask at local craft stores if you can put a flyer in their window. If you have your own website, include that on all flyers and notices, business cards when you sell face to face. Ask art and craft groups if you can sell on commission through them.

    Get your site listed on the search engines……this can be done free even google.
    Also add your website to http://www.toplisted.net this is free you just need to add the banner.
    Another good idea is starting a blog about your craft and adding your shop link.
    We have used these advertising methods for our craft website and had loads of hits and also received some business.

    You need to reach people through Search engines such as Yahoo and Google. When people are looking to buy on line they do a search. Contact Yahoo or Google marketing for more information. You could also open an ebay store, they do the advertising for you.
